Extended techniques on the Electric bass are what seperate the advanced players from the beginners. 2-hand tapping is a technique that gives bass players the ability to play accompaniment in one hand while playing melody in the other. When this technique is used many people can't believe it is all coming from one man/woman and his/her bass.
I have attached a video of "Kiss from a Rose" a tune written by seal that I arranged for the solo electric bass. In these lessons I will teach you all the necessary tapping techniques to play this piece, along with simple exercises and ideas that will allow you to play similar pieces by bass players like Victor Wooten, Stu Hamm, and other tapping bass players.
Please feel free to contact me about any other questions regarding the lessons. I will also soon be posting more advanced technique lessons for bass like slapping, double thumping, and 4 finger technique......so stay tuned.
