I'm earning my PhD in music theory from the Eastman School of Music, one of the best music schools in the world. I have years of experience with private tutoring and classroom teaching (150+ students taught). I am versed in classical composition, songwriting, jazz piano improvisation, DJing, EDM and hip hop production. I also do academic music theory research about subjects like musical taste, cognition, rhythm, bass lines, and groove.

Bachelor's degree in Music Theory (Honors) at the University of British Columbia. PhD student in Music Theory at the Eastman School of Music. Tuition covered in full, received a research and living stipend. Recipient of the SSHRC Doctoral Fellowship from the government of Canada for my research.
