How to deal with difficult friends

How to deal with difficult friends

You may have heard it before. Constructive criticism. "I am not trying to hurt you I am just trying to help you."

Sometimes you may come across a friend who may act like a friend but they are actually hurting you. They point out your flaws and make you feel that you have to change yourself in order to be liked. When you get upset they claim that you are being sensitive.

Friends do give advice but when friends make comments and insult you they are being emotionally abusive. Everyone has their quirky ways and the duty of a good friend is to accept their friend faults and all. The minute you have a friend who puts you down and is always insulting you is the minute you should find a new friend.

Do not listen to any negative comments that people say. Focus on people who raise you up instead of bring you down.

Relationship Tips and Advice

Relationship Tips and Advice

At one time or another we all came across a guy who was bad for us. Fighting our feelings is no way to go about it.

The law of attraction states "What you think persists." The more you think of what you do not want the more you attract that. The more you tell yourself not to think of someone the more you will think of someone.

It is okay if you meet someone who is not your type. You have to accept it and move on. Let the feelings fade on their own. Forcing feelings to fade never leads to anything good. The feelings will get stronger and deeper the more you try to push them away.

Do not expect to change him. If you want a guy who is sweet than do not expect the bad boy to be sweet. He is who he is and you are just going to have to accept that. If you really want a good guy than move onto someone good or start going places where good guys are. Despite what society tells you, there actually are good guys.

Spend less time around that person. The less time you spend around that person the less you will think about him.

Date other guys. There are a million guys in the world. Do not settle for some guy who will not treat you right.

At the right time you will meet that special person. In the meantime focus on yourself and never settle.

How To Be A Good College Roomate

How To Be A Good College Roomate

You are 18 and going off to college. While it could be exciting it could also be tough. Here are ways how to be a good college roomate.

Be quiet when you see your roomate sleeping. A lot of kids party in college but being a drunk roomate when your roomate is sleeping is annoying and it can cause fights. Besides how would you like it if you had to get up early for class in the morning and your sleep is gettind disturbed?

Talk things out. Everyone does things to get on each other's nerves. When you are living with other people in close quarters it is extremely hard. When your roomate does something that bothers you talk it out instead of fighting.

Try giving each other space. It is great when you are best friends with your roomate. Spending too much time together could be annoying. Even best friends need room to breathe. Have a life outside of your room.

Don't gossip about your roomate. This is hard because everyone gossips. Talk goes back and the people you talk to you do not have to live with. If your roomates find something you said or did it is them that you have to deal with.
