Biography & Interests :

Hi there! I originally come from Istanbul where I was born and raised until I was 27. I have studied Psychology and Cultural Studies before. In Amsterdam I have 4 students whom I work with. Depending on your level, we can start from scratch or do advance courses. I am quite patient and enthusiastic about teaching Turkish. Although by many people it is regarded as a very hard language, it is a very flexible, poetic and reflexive language which requires some practice. And, I am here to help you.

Achievements :

I have been awarded as a young International talent due to my academic achievements and in 2009 I got the prestigious HSP Huygens award to start my PhD in Amsterdam.

Special Teaching Skills :

I have a major degree in Psychology and that also helps me a lot to develop new teaching skills. I take every individual a unique case and before starting the classes I talk to them in detail. I try to understand them, their needs and interests in order to develop a method which they would enjoy. I have several text materials and as a creative person, time to time, I play games with my students. I create special speaking exercises and prepare exercises myself which are unique to that person.
